Justin Bieber Meets Prime Minister Stephen Harper Wearing Overalls
I’m sure many of you have seen this photo circulating the internet and news stations over the past few days.
Here at Canadian Free Stuff we don’t usually blog about Fashion or Entertainment but I am interested to hear what all your readers think about this recent picture.
Receiving the Diamond Jubilee Medal is an honour. Do you think it was disrespectful to meet the Prime Minister wearing overalls or do you think we should just shake it off and leave the kid alone? If he didn’t have a suit should he have at least taken off his hat or buttoned TWO of those straps? lol
Here is what Justin Bieber wrote on his Twitter says to defend his choice of attire that day;
“The pic of me and the Prime Minister was taken in a room in the arena where i was performing at that day. I walked straight from my meet and greet to him, if you “Hayley” expect me to have a change of clothes let a loan [sic] a suit at that specific time that’s crazy, It wasn’t like it was like I was going into his environment we were at a hockey arena. Wow am i ever white trash hayley peterson lol.
Even Steven Harper has a sense of humour;
“In fairness to @ justinbieber, I told him I would be wearing my overalls too.”

In larger perspective… who really should be getting dressed for who?… Bieber is known world wide, is extremely rich and had the most views on youtube (until a few days ago…) the prime minister is just a guy who is dressed nice for his profession, not known world wide and definitely not as rich… now ask who should be getting “suited up” for who?

Backstage after a concert. No problem. I am 65 and not much of a Bieber fan. But, I understand that he was in costume from his performance. So, it is cool! I don’t think we should judge him because of it.
Now, there is that Jenny McCarthy. She grabbed the Bieb by the backside and kissed – at an awards show. Bieber looked shocked. This was a 40+ woman grabbing an 18 year old in a sexual manner. If his had been a 40 year old guy and an 18 year old girl, someone would be calling the cops and charging the guy. Jenny called it a cougar moment. Shame on her. Great example for her 10 year old son. The Biebs handled it politely. McCarthy, a hasbeen in showbiz, stole Bieber’s moment and usurped it to boost her own career (any publicity is better than one). The double standard is alive and well.

Sad that Mr. Bieber is so full of himself that he thinks its okay to defend wearing overalls to meet the prime minister. The least he could of done is buckle the other side of his pants and take off his hat. Understand he was working, but there is modifications he could have done.
Never enjoyed him or his music. This is just a clincher as to what fame and position does to you.

oh apparently this was taken at a hockey arena that Bieber was rehearsing at – if that is the case, then it makes much more sense.
