The Old Fashion Way And The Most control you will have.
Setting Up Folders in Your BookMarks
Create Folders.
Daily Contests ~ These are contests you will want to enter every day. Warning There are some contests that only allow 1 entry per every 24 hours. So You may want to be careful of that. And if you have more than a few in your folder ~ Perhaps take them out of this folder and create a 24 Hour folder.
Weekly Contests ~ These are contests where you can enter every week. You may choose to Enter all your weekly contests on a certain day of the week.
Monthly Contests ~ These are contests where the rules state one entry per month.
Single Entry Contests ~ Contests Where you are only allowed to enter once. What I have done in the past, Is when I’ve entered the contest I’ve bookmarked it. So if I found a new contest I would go to the entry page and attempt to bookmark it, and if it comes up that I already have it in my bookmarks ~ Then I knew I entered it.
Other Contesting Sites such as Win Free Stuff and Contest Girl ~ I’m sure there are others allow you to control the contests from insider their platform. But sometimes you run into contests that are not on this list, or they don’t list blog contests.
Another Great Tool bar to use for Singles is Diigo ~ A little tool bar where you can create notes onto webpages. You just add in a comment right from the Tool Bar itself. So You can Put a Sticky Note ~ Entered and the date~ or Enter this at end of the end of the month
You May then want to create a Twitter Folder for Blog Contests ~ So when you have the time, you can go through these bookmarks and tweet the giveaways. Many Blog Contests allow daily entries for Tweeting blog contests ( See more on Tweeting for Contests)
The Art of Bookmarking:
You May want to change the Name of each page: But Do what works for you.
Ideas on Changing Names of Bookmarks
- Brand or Company ~ Expiry Date
- Brand or Company ~ Expiry Date~Whom can enter - You may put 18+ or the words Kids or a single person in your home.
Then When you are contesting, you can allow other people to enter in your household using the same bookmarks you have set up.
If your Folders are getting too big for you. You can break them down further. Example ~ Favorite Daily ones, Or Big Prizes. Or you may separate them into Months of the year by Expiry Date.
It Takes a While to find a System that will work for you.
You may want to further folder book by WorldWide, USA/Canada and Canada Only as another example to shrink down the number of contests in each folder , to save you time on those days you don’t have a few hours to spare.
