Marble Slab Creamery introduced the “frozen slab” technique and experience to Canada. The first store was opened in Calgary, Alberta in 2003.

Waffle cones are baked and hand-made on site. There as got to be something said for that. Many stores are finding quicker ways to do things. Everything is done with machinery, sometimes at the expense of taste. However, not Marble Slab.  For mixingss, they have fresh fruit,  nuts,  candies, and the most awesome cookies available. Whatever you decide to order, you can be sure that it’s fresh and filled with flavour!!

The Marble Slab Creamery experience starts from the moment when you enter one of their stores and are immediately greeted by the smell of  baked waffle cones, available in a variety of flavours ranging from traditional waffle to Dark Chocolate.

Then comes the moment of choice – discovering which one of the delicious, home made ice cream flavours is perfect for you.

Once your desired flavour of ice cream has been selected, the magic begins. They scoop the ice cream onto a frozen marble slab, where your choices of fruits, nuts and candies, are blended with the ice cream, and then piled into the waffle cone of your choice.
