The Michelin Brand
This company was founded back in 1889 and as been a trusted name for many Canadian families over the years. They have a proven track record and they know tires.
Canadian Winters tend to be harsh and let’s just say that the driving conditions on many days are less than favorable.
Do you want to trust your families safety to just anybody? Of course not. You have to trust a brand that knows what it is doing, knows the ins and outs of the tire industry, has been around the block so to speak.
Michelin as been tried and tested throughout the years, over and over again, and have gotten the same results. People are pleased with their products and more importantly trust them to stand up to the elements. High-quality you can’t just get anywhere in my opinion.
This jolly character was introduced back in 1894 and as been a popular icon at this company ever since. I can remember seeing his jolly grin as a child. There was just something about the Michelin Man that looked friendly and trustworthy.
He came to be when this company was holding an exhibition. Someone placed two columns of tires(piled on top of eachother) and someone made a simple statement…”Give it some arms and legs and it would look like a man”. Well, at that moment the Michelin Man idea was born. It is so funny how something so popular and iconic can come from a simple generalized statment.
