On December 20, 2016 – Old Dutch Foods Ltd is recalling:

Old Dutch brand Cheddar & Sour Cream Potato Chips due to possible Salmonella contamination.

If you have the recalled product, you are being asked to return it to the store for a full refund, or dispose of it.

What you should do:
  1. Check to see if you have recalled products in your home. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
  2. If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.
About Salmonella:

Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick.

Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea.

Elderly, Pregnant Women, Young children, and people that have a weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections.

Long-term complications may include severe arthritis.
