On December 20, 2016 – Old Dutch Foods Ltd is recalling:
Old Dutch brand Cheddar & Sour Cream Potato Chips due to possible Salmonella contamination.
If you have the recalled product, you are being asked to return it to the store for a full refund, or dispose of it.

Reason for Recall:
- possible Salmonella contamination

- British Columbia
- Northern Ontario
- no illness has been reported, associated with the consumption of these products
What you should do:
- Check to see if you have recalled products in your home. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
- If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.
Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick.
Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea.
Elderly, Pregnant Women, Young children, and people that have a weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections.
Long-term complications may include severe arthritis.
