June 6, 1907 – the first day of patent applications in America-hence, also called “the great leap forward” for chemicals because it jump-started innovation and manufacturing efficiency with its self-activated powder laundry detergents that led to better quality products being manufactured at lower costs than ever before. Persil’s Name is derived from two authentic ingredients: mixed sodium perborate (a bleaching agent) and brief tablets made by Unilever, which is now licensed through Henkel after purchasing them during World War II .

it keeps spinning does not stop????
I would have preferred a free sample over the $2 coupon. With my hypersensitive skin, I hesitate to buy a full size product.
Living in Canada and at a lake with our white Golden Retriever , we do a a lot washing. The dog looks always fairly clean from her daily swim, but she is always wet or damp with that “wonderful “dog smell, as she also rolls in grass and mud.
Her blanket on the couch and on the backseat of the car smells pretty bad and only our love for her lets
us live with that.
I was born in Berlin/ Germany in 1942 and already know Persil from growing up there, as my mother and grandmother already used Persil for washing .
When Persil came to Canada, we were so happy and I have used it ever since.
I have only one wish:
Could you develop a dog shampoo, which will make Tessie smell as nice as her blankets and towels,
please!!!?!!!…

I switched from Tide to Persil and like it a lot better. My son showed me when it was on sale –way better value for dollar and cleaning power. Well, I have to admit he was right and I love the clean smell of the clothes and it gets the stains out. We have a Duck Toller -50 lb dog and she gets dirty so does her sweaters and towels we use to dry he off –well Persil does the trick –no more spraying and letting it sit before washing –comes out clean every time. Love this product…..My husband exercises daily and sweats a lot and the persil gets the smell out which is big for me!!!Thanks so much

I love persil I always use Tide Now I will never I only buy Persil since it came out love it Really is the best for tough stains and the smell is wonderful even when you sweat all you smell is the long lasting smell of Persil thank you if you have some free coupons I would appreciate very much thank you
