Pinterest Inspired Back to School Organization! ~~Lunches!~~

It is almost that time of year.  I know for some kids school starts up again this week.  A few luckier kids get to enjoy a little more summer holidays only starting school after labour day.  I started panicking a little today.  Lunches, homework, school projects and where to set up for all this!!  Where do I store all this stuff!?  I did what any web savvy momma does…. hit up Pinterest!

I came across this great idea over at Mom Advice for a DIY Lunchbox Creation Station.  I am headed to Walmart and Staples in the morning to get all the supplies!  I will grab a 3 or 4 drawer rolling plastic unit from Walmart then I will hit up Staples to see if they have any Martha Stewart Chalk Board Sticker Labels (oh you know she would make those right??).  Much easier than painting and cutting….  I should be known as the lazy DIY-er.

The idea here is to let the kids pick something from each drawer in the morning before school.  I love it.  Anything that gets my kids involved is perfect!  With the chalk labels you can reuse the drawers for the summer holidays.  Sunscreen, bug spray, sun hats, pool stuff can be sorted and organized!  Brilliant!

There is a suggestion also of setting up one drawer of the fridge for snacks that need refrigeration.  Carrots, celery, chopped and sorted into portions and ready to grab and go.  Perfect!  Could work for hubby too!
