Over the years I have had the wonderful opportunity to try out many fabulous products and services. I love discovering new items and having the chance to share my experience with others.
This week I received another amazing product that I can't wait to tell you about.
Many people who know me or regularly read my reviews know that I just love Scentsy products. For those of you that are joining me for the first time allow me to introduce you to an amazing company called Scentsy.
Scentsy is a company that was founded back in 2004 on a small sheep farm in Idaho. One of Scentsy's most popular product is their Warmers. These are decorative, ceramic warmers that can be plugged in to heat scented wax. Scentsy warmers are the perfect alternative to scented candles. Unlike a candle, Scentsy warmers are smokeless, sootless, wickless and have absolutely no fame. This eliminates the fire hazard associated with candle burning in your home or office.
I truly love having a "safe" way to add scent and aroma, not to mention ambiance to my home.
Scentsy warmers are available in a variety of different sizes, shapes and colours. There is a warmer to suit anyones personal taste or decor. They can be used in any room in your house or even at the office.
Once you have a Scentsy warmer you simply break off a piece of specially formulated scentsy wax and place it in the warming saucer. Plug your warmer into the outlet and a low-watt bulb gently warms the wax. As the wax melts it releasing the wonderful fragrance.
Scentsy wax bars are available in over 80 different scents. Again there really is something for everyone. Some of the wax bars that I have are quite bold and strong in aroma and others are more gentle and soft in fragrance.
This week I had the opportunity to try out two brand new Scentsy wax scents.
Introducing: PINK PEPPER and PIXIE
These Two NEW Scents have just be released in time for Valentines Day.
Pink Pepper is Scentsy's first and only single note fragrance that can be used alone or with other scents at the same time. As described by Scentsy; it "is distilled from rose-hued berries of the Peruvian pepper tree and conveys spicy aromas with hints of angelica and juniper. Scentsy recently announced Pink Pepper as the ScenTrend for 2012. "It is the up-and-coming fragrance note for this year" You can read more about Pink Pepper at www.ScenTrend.com
Like the name implies, Pink Pepper has a spicy aroma that is somehow still sweet and almost floral. I find the scent to be a calming one that is not to over-powering. I can't wait to experiment a little bit with this new scent and see what I can combine it with to create a new aroma experience. I love the idea of having the option to pair aromas with other scents. "Very cool Scentsy, very cool!"
You can also experience the aroma of Pink Pepper in Scentsy's February 2012 Scent of the Month, PIXIE.
Pixie is a blend of Pink Pepper, mandarin and heliotrope as well as teak wood and vanilla oak. This combination is a winner for sure. How do I know? Well, just as soon as I received my parcel from Scentsy this week my daughter quickly reached into the box and grabbed both new Scentsy Bars. She immediately proclaimed the PIXIE Scentsy bar as her own and wouldn't even let me touch it at first. Once I had a chance to get my hands on it I could totally understand what the attraction was. PIXIE is a bolder scent that has many different layers to it. Every time I smell it I think I sense something different. It has a sweet and yet slightly spicy aroma. It reminds me of something from my past but just can't put my finger on it. It almost reminds me of the soft smell of trees blossoming in the springtime. I don't know what Scentsy was aiming for, but that is the neat thing about aromas. They smell different to different people. Many fragrances can evoke memories and this one reminds me of playing in the garden as a child right after a warm springtime rain. I love it! It is for sure going to be one of my new favourite Scentsy scents.

So, what else is new at Scentsy? Well...... New warmers of course. Scentsy is always coming up with new and interesting warmers.

I have the Crinkle Warmer and adore it. This ceramic full-sized warmer is actually all white with an interesting "crinkle" pattern on it. This clean design will be well suited for any room in my house. When the warmer is plugged in and switched on the ceramic actually glows a warm pinkish colour. It is so pretty. I am normally a fruit scent type of girl, but Happy Birthday totally caught my attention. Next to coconut, whipped cream is one of my favourite treats right now! Also, it made me think of my birthday, which is in just over a month
I would love to try Christmas cottage. I adore the smells of the season, and even tho a bit late, it’s still winterish outside and some nice scents of cinammon and clove would make a happy home.

The Perfectly Pomegranate sounds like it would be a perfect scent for me along with the majority of them. Pink pepper seems as if it too would be very intriguing. I liked Scentsy on Facebook and already liked Canadian Free Stuff on Facebook and visit it regularly.
I choose the new Pixie scent because it sounds absolutely angelic with a hint of sass! I love how innovative Scentsy is – the aromas evoke the most pleasant memories without being at all cloying.
