This past Sunday my Mother and I decided to go to The Ultimate Women’s Show that was taking place in our area. A friend of ours has gone to the show for a few years and really enjoyed it, so we thought we should go check it out.
One thing that really got us into the idea of going was the VIP gift bags. They were given out to the first 500 people at the show each day. We had gone on the last day of the show and arrived about 30 minutes after the doors opened. As we pulled into the parking lot there were so many cars we thought the gift bags were all gone for sure! We were pleasantly surprised to both be handed a gift bag at the door. Once we got in the place seemed HUGE and we had no idea where to start, so we decided to go as far as possible to the right and make our way to the left.
Right away there was a lady at a booth with some hand cream for us and some nice products we looked at but we didn’t want to go spending all our money right away. Then a man selling his book. Then some nail art pens and more hand cream! All this hand cream was great but we had way too much. Someone needed to be handing out cloths.
The show definitely had a wide variety of exhibitors. There was different gyms, make-up, nail polish, books, real estate companies, insurance companies, massage therapists, jewellery, clothing, and some products that were just interesting.
There were tons of contests to enter, My mom won a bottle of water and I won a pen. I can’t even remember how many ballots we filled out! There was a variety of different prizes, LCBO gift cards, groceries, gym memberships, trips, firefighter helmets, gift cards for the exhibitors shop, and gift baskets.
There was also a fashions show ( Fire fighters modeling aprons), cooking classes, inspirational speakers, and a zumba fitness demonstration.
Things to try such as wine, beer, HEALTHY chocolate, hand creams, make-ups, nail polish and fish oil and other health products and services.
What we bought:
2 Heat in a Click’s~ These are pretty cool. They are like gel packs but with a little disc floating in them and when you flex this disc it causes a reaction and the pack gets hot. When you are done with the hot pack or its no longer warm you just boil it and it goes back to normal and can be used again.
10 Nail art plates~ We have been fascinated by these plates since our family trip to Florida last year when we discovered Konad. Basically they are little round plates with a few designs on them. You paint over these designs with nail polish then wipe the extra polish away and roll the stamper over the image then roll onto your nail. My nails are all different designs right now.
What came in the gift bags: ( And what was handed to us throughout the show)
Allens Dessert Bites samples~ OMG I am in love with these! They are so delicious, we got Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Apple Pie. Little bites of dessert HEAVEN. You can join their Facebook page HERE. The lady gave us a heads up there are lots of freebies, contests, and coupons to come.
Chips~ Kettle cooked chips ( Sour cream & Dill flavor)
Chocolate boobs~ Yes I just said chocolate boobs, they were from the thermography clinic Niagara Pain free Breast screening. They definitely made us think what on earth is this!?
Magazines~ Hand out of different magazines J
Nail file~ Property guys handed out little nail files which I gave to my dad since #1 he steals mine and my moms nail files and #2 He is a real estate agent working for a different company .
Jergens Overnight fix~ Medium sized bottle of Jergens Overnight Fix
Hair care samples~ Shampoo, Conditioner and flat iron protection
Information~ A lot of little brochures about tons of different companies to check out
It was a fun day out and would consider going next year.
