I love Walmart, it’s my favourite store. They have the best prices, the best coupon policy and they price match!
Here is my shopping trip this morning:
1 – Jumbo Pampers on sale for $39.97, used a $4off coupon from BrandSaver AND it came with $30 in P&G coupons (I know I’ll use all of them. So the diapers will only end up costing = $4.97
2- St Ives face scrubs (this stuff is amazing, btw) not on sale at $3.77 (still half the price of what SDM charges…), used 2 $1 off coupons (tear pad) = $2.77 each
7- Gold Fish Crackers (I keep them in the car, quick easy snack on the run… aka, keeps baby quiet while I drive), on sale for $2, used 7 $0.50 coupons (smartsource inserts) = $1.50 each
2- packs of Skinny Cow Ice Cream Bars (not pictured, because Walmart is 30 mins away, so i had to hurry and put them in the freezer)) on sale for $4.99, used 2 $5 off coupons (printable from their facebook page, no longer available) = +$0.01 each
11- Colgate tooth paste, on sale (not in the flyer) for $0.88, used 11 $1 off coupons (requested from the company) = +$0.12 each
Grand Total: $19.67 (before sales and coupons would have been $104.50) 82% savings!

Newer Cashiers lots of times get stuck on wording 1 per purchase.
I stand my ground.
And say this item is 1 purchase and this whole cart is a purchase.
Make them call someone that knows more, and then you’ll have trained a cashier into accepting coupons.

i think the idea that the diapers only cost 4.97 b/c of coupons is illogical…. inky b/c on your next shopping trip you will use those coupons and say those items cost less b/c of said coupons therefore you’re fooling yourself into thinking you’ve saved twice as much!

Great Deals! I was there buying the same diapers yestersday. Did you see the smaller boxes WITHOUT coupons for the same price? CRAZY!
@JAMES What a ridiculous comment to make. When a person says “baby” it can mean any number of ages. Heck, my mom still calls me her baby, should I not eat Goldfish either? (I am a 33 yr old teacher, mother of 2!)

Great shopping deals! I am going to have to see what coupons I have to try and get some of these deals myself! Crackers (goldfish) are a fun finger food for little kids a lot of kids eat them :) it would only be a bad idea if the kid had no teeth and couldn’t chew them or something like that :)

Hey James, thanks for your opinion on what I should and should not feed my children. But as a nurse and mother of 3, I’m well aware that a balanced diet is best for my children. It’s not like I only feed my kids crackers, they get a handful here and there while I’m driving, and as an occasional snacks. You’ll be happy to know I actually cook my family 3 healthy meals a day ;) BTW my “baby” just turned 3 yrs old.
