Netflix Users are being asked to be on the lookout for a well-organized and very legit-looking “phishing” email that has been circulating for some time now.
It seems this fake email is making its rounds again, so I decided to let our readers know just in case some of you have forgotten or didn’t even realize this legitimate looking email is a SCAM!!
The FTC issued a warning to users that there is an email circulating that is a fake message about updating your account or that your services have been suspended due to a payment issue.
When you click on the link, they ask you for your login info, etc. This is a sneaky way of retrieving all your login info, and to even spread malware.
Scammers can use this information to steal your money and even your identity.

The email will look something like this;
Markers of a scam email, according to The Sun:
– it doesn’t state your full name
– it asks for personal information or account numbers
– it asks for your passwords
– it contains a link
