First introduced in the 1970s by a herbalist named Aw Chu Kin. This man was not in good health. He was on his deathbed, actually.

He asked both his sons to make this product perfect.

The product was named after his oldest son Aw Boon Haw. This name means “Gentle Tiger.”

Tiger Balm`s herbal formula medication that is used to treat external pain. This is a secret formula that is said to date way back to the Chinese Emperor’s days.

Available in cold and hot versions. Cold is said to treat headaches. Another version is the Tiger Balm Ultra.

Tiger Balm Gardens

This family created Tiger Balm Gardens to promote this product. It was located in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Some ingredients found in this product include; Menthol, Camphor, Dementholised mint oil, Cajuput oil, Clove bud oil, Cassia oil, and more.
