How to save money and still eat well at Earls Restaurant
Earl’s Restaurant is all over the place these days. When folks find out that I’m vegan, they frequently remark, “You must eat at Earls! ”
On Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the summer, they’ve offered all of their menu items at half price for half off. This was a fantastic offer for those on a budget like myself. Unfortunately, the discount promotion ended in October.
Eating Vegan at Earls
However, at Earls, you CAN find something to eat if you stick to the main items on the menu or make a few substitutions. Here is how:
Salad – choose from Caesar salad, side salad, or superfood salad.
Dips – choose from hummus, black bean quinoa paté, heirloom tomatoes with roasted garlic or salsa. Add guacamole for $1.50 more. All the dips are vegan except for the cheese dip, which comes with nacho chips. Cucumber slices can replace the nachos.
Appetizers – choose from Indian naan bread with hummus, heirloom tomatoes with roasted garlic or mushrooms on toast (on the kid’s menu). If you ask for no butter, they will give you plain grilled toast instead of sourdough. All appetizers are vegan except for the cheese/gorgonzola.
