- 2 bags microwave popcorn, popped & any unpopped kernels removed
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- Place the popped popcorn in a large bowl.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Add the sugar and bring to a boil. Allow to boil for 2 minutes. Add the water and stir well. Quickly pour the mixture over the popcorn, and toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt, using as much or as little as you want depending on your taste preference & whether you want more sweet or more salty of popcorn
- Chill the popcorn in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes before serving.
