About Mr. Lube
Mr. Lube was started in 1976 by Arnold and Clifford Giese of Edmonton, Alberta, a father-and-son team. They wanted to offer their customers a no-appointment, no-hassle, quick and easy way to get their vehicle’s maintenance done reasonably.
When the father and son team, Arnold and Clifford Giese, founded Mr. Lube Canada in 1976, that was precisely the need they were trying to fill. They wanted a company that didn’t require appointments for an oil change. By 1981, their service was such a hit that it became a franchise.
Today, there are more than 120 Mr. Lubes in existence. Consumers know if they need something done quickly and don’t have time to make an appointment, they can pull in a Mr. Lube Canada and meet their needs.
You can expect various services from Mr. Lube Canada, from various fluid changes to battery replacement and windshield chip repair.
Why wait to make an appointment when you can visit your nearest Mr. Lube Canada and take care of the problem at your convenience?
They opened their first location in Edmonton, and by 1981 they started the franchise program. Before long, there were Mr. Lube locations across Canada.
There are well over 130 Mr. Lube locations today, with new ones popping up.
