About Mr. Lube
Mr. Lube was started in 1976 by Arnold and Clifford Giese of Edmonton, Alberta, a father and son team. They wanted to offer their customers a no-appointment, no-hassle, quick and easy way to get their vehicle’s maintenance done at a reasonable price.
They opened their very first location in Edmonton, and by 1981 they started the franchise program. Before long, there were Mr. Lube locations across Canada.
Today, there are well over 130 Mr. Lube locations, with new ones popping up all the time.
