What Is Swagbucks Canada?
Swagbucks Canada is a search engine which rewards you with Swagbucks for searching. You can use it just like Google (though I still like Google better) for searching, and you will be randomly awarded Swagbucks for searching, usually around five to 10 Swagbucks once or twice each day.
Swagbucks can then be redeemed for various free items, such as gift cards like Amazon, Walmart, Starbucks gift cards, and many more ways to earn prizes and rewards.
While Swagbucks started as solely a search engine, they’ve morphed into much more over the past few years. They now offer many different ways to earn more Swagbucks making it much easier to earn enough to make money on their prizes, such as gift cards.
How Do I Sign Up For Swagbucks?
It’s straightforward. Just fill out the form here, and you’re all set.
Please do note that you can only sign up for one account per household. If you try to open and use more than one account per household, they will close your accounts.
Does It Work in Canada?
Resoundingly yes! I’ve earned many gift cards plus some electronics from them since I’ve been using the Swagbucks website for the last few years. We were able to richly bless our families with Christmas gifts one year in large part, to the gift cards I’d accumulated through Swagbucks rewards by taking advantage of ways to get bonus points and easy ways for members to find points.
And I’m not alone. I know dozens of friends who’ve also had great success with Swagbucks Canada- paid out at least one or two gift cards every month and sometimes much more than that. It’s easy for any user to get started online and make a few points just by using the website, and all it takes is your email address to get started!
1. Install the Swagbucks Toolbar
You can search the web directly on the Swagbucks homepage. Or, you can make it much easier on yourself and install the Swagbucks toolbar to search the web.
Then, when you want to search for something, you can go to the Swagbucks toolbar and explore without opening up the Swagbucks homepage.
Also, you’ll sometimes receive notifications of free Swagbucks Canada codes in the toolbar, which you can enter on the website of your Swagbucks Canada account to add free bonus sb points to your account.
2. Follow the Swagbucks Blog
If you’re not following the Swagbucks blog, you’re missing out on many opportunities to snag free Swagbucks codes. (sb points) They have been releasing free codes almost every day.
Plus, you’ll be in the know about giveaways they are running and everything new at Swagbucks Canada.
3. Bookmark Pages You Visit Everyday
If you visit sites every day (such as asCanadianFreeStuff.com, Facebook, etc.), Swagbucks page search on Swagbucks, then bookmark the results page.
Go to the bookmarked results page every day instead of going directly to the site, and it will instantly research for the page, and you’ll likely rack up quite a few randomly awarded sb points each week by doing this.
4. Print Coupons
Did you know that you can now earn 10 Swagbucks for every coupon you print and use from Swagbucks Canada? Just click on the “Earn” tab at the Swagbucks homepage’s top and then click on “Coupons.” You’ll earn ten sb points for every coupon you print and redeem at your local store.
Please note that you’ll only receive Swagbucks for coupons you use. Just writing them won’t earn you anything, so make sure only to write those you know you’ll use.
Also, it takes up to 12 weeks for the sb points to post to your account. However, I’ve received reports from many different people that this has worked without a hitch. You have to have a bit of patience!
Remember, you can print coupons for Canadian Grocery Stores with us here at Canadianfreestuff.com.
5. Watch videos on Swagbucks
Click on the “Swagbucks TV” on the drop-down menu under the “Earn” tab to pull up the Swagbucks TV page. You have to watch ten different videos (they range in length from one minute to five minutes), and then you’ll earn three Swagbucks as a way to earn sb points by just watching videos.
I usually watch videos while working on the computer, and it’s a simple way to rack up some sb points slowly.
You can earn up to 25 three-point rewards in 24 hours (a total of 75 points), so it’s a great way to earn sb points to watch videos in the background and multi-task while on the computer.
I sometimes leave the videos running while working on a nearby task (laundry, cleaning, etc.).
6. Take the Daily Poll
Every day, Swagbucks Canada offers a straightforward poll. Just click on the “Poll” on the drop-down menu under the “Earn” tab to pull up the page.
Choose your answer, and you’ll earn points. It’s simple and takes about 15 seconds to do.
7. Perform Tasks
Swagbucks Canada has a list of different tasks you can complete online and earn anywhere from 16 to 40 Swagbucks.
Just click on the “Tasks” on the drop-down menu under the “Earn” tab to pull up the page.
Each task is different. They will tell you at the beginning how many minutes the job will typically take.
I will say that I wouldn’t recommend this way of earning Swagbucksunless. You have a lot of time on your hands and love doing online research. For the time involved in doing these tasks, you’re only earning the equivalent of pennies.
8. Complete Special Offers
Many, many more such offers require no credit card or payment to earn Swagbucks. Click on the “Special Offers” on the drop-down menu under the “Earn” tab to pull up the page, which lists the various offers you can complete to earn Swagbucks.
Unless you were already planning to sign up for one of the free trials, which require a credit card, I would not suggest signing up for them as it’s possible you could forget to cancel and get billed.
9. Take Surveys ( Trusted)
There are mixed reviews on the survey opportunities, similar to the paid survey opportunities.
Some people take surveys and do well with them, and some people spend a lot of time filling out pre-survey questionnaires only to find out they don’t qualify on surveys.
Take Surveys If you enjoy filling out surveys, I’d say it’s worth a shot to try doing some of the Trusted Surveys through Swagbucks. However, if you find you’re rarely qualifying for surveys, I’d skip the surveys and focus on some of the other more reliable earning opportunities.
10. Play Games to Earn SB Points
Playing games can also earn you some Swagbucks Canada points.
I tried my hand at playing games on Swagbucks Canada and was less than enthused. However, I’m one of those people who finds computer games incredibly dull. If you’re unlike me and enjoy computer games, this might be a great way to earn Swagbucks.
Sarah commented last week:
I make the most with the Games. I’m good at one game in particular, and for a while, I was winning up to 10 tournaments a day for probably 200 Swagbucks Canada. Then they put a five-tournaments-a-month limit, and I stick to the big weekly ones, still winning 1000-2000 Swagbucks each for those.
So Yes, Play Games to earn points if it’s your thing.
11. Special Offers
You can go to the No Obligation Special Offers section every day and skip through all the offers (sign up if something interests you but skip those who don’t interest you). In the end, you have to type in a simple phrase, and you’ll earn two Swagbucks.
This will take you no more than 20 seconds from start to finish, and you can do it every day!
12. Shop Online Through Swagbucks & Cashback
check out the online shopping through Swagbucks, and if you want a few more points shopping online through Swagbucks is another way to earn money as cashback!
If you’re going to purchase a Groupon deal, always head to the Daily Deals page on Swagbucks Canada and click through there to buy it.
In many cases, you’ll earn 150 to 300 Swagbucks for your purchase — doing online shopping with select retailers for you to get cashback by simply shopping online.
If you have old cell phones, MP3 players, games, consoles or books you want to get rid of, check out how many Swagbucks you can earn by trading them in. After looking up your item, you can print out a pre-paid shipping label and receipt, stick it in the mail, and you’ll get awarded Swagbucks Canada after your trade-in is processed.
14. Follow Swagbucks on Twitter
If you follow Swagbucks Canada on Twitter, you’ll be the first to know about Twitter-only swag codes available. Plus, multiple times per week, they randomly award Twitter followers with 100 free Swagbuck codes for tweeting using the hashtag #Swagbucks.
15. Follow Swagbucks on Facebook
The Swagbucks Facebook Page is the place to learn about the latest Swag codes and discuss all things related to Swagbucks Canada. Everyone is allowed to post on the wall, sometimes the discussions or comments get a little out of hand.
Also, I’ve found that the Swagbucks Facebook Page is a goldmine for finding the best phrases to search for Swagbucks.
I never seem to have great success when searching the web on my own, but when I search the phrases people suggest, I almost always win double-digit Swagbucks. I have no idea what’s up with that, but you should try it, too!
