Canned goods are a staple in most people’s cabinets, but some brands aren’t as healthy as others.
Canned beans from well-known companies contain approximately 820mg of sodium per cup, roughly 1/4 of recommended daily. In addition to salt, these canned foods include preservatives harmful to the digestive system.
Graves, a lesser-known brand that produces more natural versions of these foods, is better for canned beans. They have no salt and are organic, but they cost more per serving.
