Ben had been fired from numerous jobs, and Jerry could not get into medical school. The universe had bigger plans for these two guys!
Get this; they had a correspondence course in ice cream making that cost them $5.00. Yes, five bucks!
They opened up their first store in a run-down gas station in Vermont. There the Ben and Jerry’s brand was born.
They became widely popular and are one of the most recognizable brands of ice cream out there.
