Nanaimo Bar Canada Recipe

Whom doesn’t love Nanaimo bars? These little bars are so buttery and sweet!  I know they are huge here in Northern Alberta. This is my husband’s favourite bar.  I usually own build these close to Christmas – as they are not good for anyone’s waistline at my house.

I find them a little sweet  – and 1 pc will hold me over for a while.

I’m not even sure why they are called Nanaimo bars… Perhaps they originated from Nanaimo British Columbia – I am uncertain.

This Bar has 3 individual layers to be built.
