The Dish, your family, will eat before Dinner is served. This dessert is one of my family’s favourites. It certainly isn’t healthy for you, and everyone will pick at it until it’s 100% vanished, which isn’t long.
Never worry about having it looks pretty in a Brunt pan,
I’ve made it several times in just a 9×13 pan. If you decide to bake it in a standard pan, it’ll be ready about 5 minutes sooner than if you had it a brunt pan because a larger container does not have as many layers,
Cinnamon Monkey Bread
- One package of bread dough or you can purchase two cans of Pillsbury Grand Flake biscuit containers and cut each raw biscuit into quarters.
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 4 tbs of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 Cup of Butter
Cinnamon Bun Icing if you want extra sweetness
- 2 TBSP melted butter
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 3 TBSP of milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Melt 1/2 cup of butter.
Pull apart bread dough pieces and roll into balls, about 1.25 inches in diameter. ( You will need 40-45 balls) or you can simply quarter the Pillsbury biscuit dough into 4pieces.
Dip each ball into the butter then dip in the cinnamon mix. Place each one in your bundt pan. ( or you can use a 9×13 pan as well and just layer it)
Melt 1/2 cup of butter and whisk in brown sugar. Pour over the top.
Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Isn’t it a ‘bundt’ pan?
