No official Return policy on opened and unboxed items. The decision lies with your local customer service department and the management of the store. Remember to bring your receipt. Because it will be even more difficult to return an opened box and no receipt.
If they decide to accept the return – you will get a gift card in exchange and not cash back seems to be the way things are run by the few stores I’ve returned items to for non-working items.
