Slow Cooked Honey BBQ Chicken Thighs

Everyone loves their slow-cooker this time of year, don’t they? It’s just so easy & convenient to get a healthy dinner on the table, how could you not!

Slow-Cooked Honey BBQ Chicken Thighs

Ingredients
  • 1 & 1/2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 bottle (18 ounces) favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon favorite hot sauce {I used Frank’s Original}
  • salt & pepper to season

Slow Cooked Honey BBQ Chicken Thighs

Instructions
  1. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper. Place on a broiler pan. Broil 4-5 inches from the heat source for 6-8 minutes on each side or until juices run clear. Transfer the chicken to a 5-quart slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Pour over the chicken; stir to coat.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through.
