Everyone loves their slow-cooker this time of year, don’t they? It’s just so easy & convenient to get a healthy dinner on the table, how could you not!
Slow-Cooked Honey BBQ Chicken Thighs
Ingredients
- 1 & 1/2 pounds chicken thighs
- 1 bottle (18 ounces) favourite BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon favourite hot sauce {I used Frank’s Original}
- salt & pepper to season
Instructions
- Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper. Place on a broiler pan. Broil 4-5 inches from the heat source for 6-8 minutes on each side or until juices run clear. Transfer the chicken to a 5-quart slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Pour over the chicken; stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through.
